Story Behind the Music
Several years ago, we were fortunate to travel to Italy with Dr. Lewis Eastlick who was the director of the St. Gregory the Great Youth Choir. Our itinerary was set up by Peter's Way Tours. We performed several concerts at various churches and sang for the evening Mass at the Vatican on Christ the King Sunday.  On the next website update, I will be including a video of the choir singing "Fanfare for Christ the King" at St. Peters Basilica in Vatican City.   The tour was a very humbling experience and we can't wait to return to Italy. The Italian people were so gracious and accommodating.
The links are excerpts from the concerts in Italy and Plantation, FL.
I have studied the organ since age 5. My wife was kind enough to buy me a new Rodgers Model 558 church organ as a gift since I haven't had a practice instrument in my home for decades. (click image to go to Rodgers Instruments USA)
I will begin to include organ concerti files as well. I have arranged the pieces with orchestral samples in Finale music notation software. The organ part is left out, so I am afforded the joy of playing along with a full orchestra. I hope that you enjoy the music and if you ever have a chance to visit Italy, I would highly recommend it. You could literally spend a month in Rome and still not see all of the historical sites.
It is amazing to be walking down a busy street, turn the corner, and the Coliseum appears!
Pictures in a book just cannot do justice to the magnificence of the frescos, tile work, and construction of some of the most beautiful churches in the world.
I will never forget playing the organ for Mass at St. Mark's in Venice. I suddenly realized that I was sitting not more than a few meters from the actual tomb of St. Mark. It is an experience that cannot be replicated and a tour is the best way to visit. Give Peter's Way Tours a call.
